We are a community marked by an unrelenting zeal for the House of the Lord. As a unified Body, we are building our lives and families around the Presence of God—making Him our center, our pursuit, and our purpose.

Everything we do is anchored in the safety and authority of His infallible Word, embraced in its full counsel, leading us into truth, transformation, and deeper intimacy with Jesus.

Together, we are growing in the knowledge of God through prayer. We mature in the revelation of Jesus Christ as we passionately burn over the Scriptures, allowing His Word to shape us deeply.
With hearts full of love, we labor to reach the lost in our local communities, carrying the light of Christ wherever He sends us. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we are preparing hearts for the return of the Lord.
We believe that when the person of Jesus Christ is magnified and adored in our midst, His beauty and worth unite us—and His presence transforms us.

A House

Our Main Affections

🙏 Prayer
We carry a deep desire to minister to the Lord through corporate prayer and worship. Our longing is to encounter the heart of God in such a way that it awakens divine affections within us—empowering us to express Him rightly in every area of life.

📖 Ephesians 1:17–18
"That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, having the eyes of your heart enlightened..."

🔥 Evangelism
Outreach is the pulse of our Body. We believe God has placed us in this city and this moment in history to boldly proclaim the Gospel. The ache in the Father’s heart for the lost compels us to be burning witnesses—bringing the message of reconciliation to every corner of our community and beyond.

📖 2 Corinthians 5:20
"Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God."

🤝 Discipleship
We are deeply convicted that the Church should look like family. This happens through vulnerability, priority, and intentionality. Just as Jesus invited His disciples into a life of shared fellowship and transformation, we aim to walk together as a people being continually shaped by the love and truth of Christ.

📖 Acts 2:42
"All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to fellowship, to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer."

Pastors Dominick & Jackie

Lead Pastors

Dominick and Jackie Butler are the founding and lead pastors of Gold Street Garden. In 2019, they felt a growing burden for Clearwater, FL, and began hosting intimate prayer and worship nights in their home, where they studied the Scriptures line upon line. Together with close friends in the Lord, they dreamed and strategized about planting a church firmly rooted in the infallibility of God’s Word—embracing its full counsel—and the vibrant leading of the Holy Spirit.

In the first week of 2020, they launched corporate gatherings. Although it seemed like challenging timing to start a church amidst the onset of COVID-19, God used this season to strip away ministry complexities. Through this humbling pruning process, they embraced the beautiful simplicity of Jesus being more than enough.
Gold Street Garden has since become a vibrant community centered on experiencing Jesus through Scripture, prayer, and authentic relationships within the Body of Christ.

Dominick holds a Doctorate in Theology, and Jackie holds a Bachelor’s Degree. They are delighted parents to three children: their daughter Bliss, and their sons Brave and Brighten.

Children's Leaders

Children's Ministry Leadership

Our children’s ministry leaders are devoted to helping kids know, love, and follow Jesus in every part of their lives. With hearts full of joy and a deep love for God’s Word, they create a safe, engaging environment where children can grow in faith from an early age.

Each leader is trained in Scripture, serves under the guidance of our church elders, and understands the unique needs of children in today’s world. They partner with parents to plant seeds of truth, using age-appropriate teaching, creative activities, and loving care to point every child to the hope found in Christ.

Through every Bible story, worship song, and conversation, our goal is to lead kids to a genuine, lasting relationship with Jesus.

They don’t shy away from the hard questions. Instead, they foster honest, Christ-centered conversations that help teens navigate life with wisdom, faith, and integrity. Whether through Bible study, mentoring, or just sharing life together, our leaders are here to guide the next generation toward truth, hope, and a lasting relationship with God.

Our Statement of Faith

1. The Scriptures

We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are God-breathed, authoritative, and completely trustworthy. They reveal God’s character, His saving work in Christ, and His will for His people.

2. The Nature of God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—coequal in glory, divinity, and majesty. God is the Creator of all things visible and invisible and sovereign over all His works.

3. God the Father

We believe the Father is the Almighty, the fountain of all life and goodness. He lovingly wills the redemption of humanity and governs all things according to the counsel of His perfect will.

4. Jesus Christ, the Son of God

We believe in the full deity and full humanity of Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God.
We confess:

  • His conception by the Holy Spirit
  • His birth from the Virgin Mary
  • His sinless life
  • His atoning death on the cross
  • His burial and bodily resurrection
  • His ascension and enthronement at the Father’s right hand
  • He is “very God of very God,” worthy of worship, the only Savior, and the coming Judge of the living and the dead.

5. The Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of Life, who proceeds from the Father through the Son, and who is fully divine.

The Spirit:

  • Regenerates and sanctifies believers
  • Fills and empowers the Church
  • Bestows spiritual gifts
  • Produces godly fruit
  • Guides into truth
  • Unites the people of God in love and holiness

6. Salvation

We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, accomplished through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We are saved:

  • By grace alone
  • Through faith alone
  • In Christ alone
  • No human effort, merit, or mediator can add to the finished work of Jesus

7. The Church

We believe in one holy Christian and apostolic Church, the Body of Christ on earth.

The Church is:

  • Created by God
  • Redeemed by Christ
  • Empowered by the Spirit
  • Rooted in the teaching of the apostles
  • Called to make disciples of all nations
  • Gathered in local communities for worship, fellowship, holiness, and mission
  • Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are Christ-given practices that express the gospel and nurture believers

8. The Christian Life

We believe followers of Jesus are called to holiness, love, prayer, generosity, and mission. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we seek to reflect Christ’s character, obey His Word, love God and our neighbor, live as faithful witnesses of His kingdom, and participate in His work of reconciliation in the world.

As part of this call to holy living, we affirm the historic Christian understanding of marriage as a lifelong, one-flesh covenant union between one man and one woman. Sexual intimacy is ordained by God for marriage alone, and all sexual practice outside this covenant is sin. The Church of Jesus Christ upholds this biblical definition of marriage and will solemnize marriage only between those who submit to this teaching as revealed in Scripture.

9. The Resurrection and the Coming Kingdom

We believe Christ will return in glory to judge the living and the dead and to renew all things.
At His coming:

  • The dead will rise bodily
  • Believers will be raised to everlasting life
  • God’s kingdom will be fully established
  • Sin, death, and evil will be destroyed forever
  • We look forward to “the life of the world to come”

10. The Final Hope

We believe our ultimate hope is the eternal presence of God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—where we will worship Him forever in joy, peace, and glory.

“Rooted in Scripture. Confessing the historic faith. Centered on Christ. Empowered by the Spirit. Living for the glory of God.”
